Fun Friday: Android Weddings, G+1, and Thanksgiving Flowcharts

November 18, 2011 - It's the last Fun Friday before the Thanksgiving weekend. Next week, not only will we be running a blog series on further optimization for Google Panda, but we'll be accompanying each article with a tasty holiday recipe!

If you're struggling on what to bring to dinner this Thanksgiving holiday, we found this great, helpful flowchart from CHOW that gives a bit of a tongue-in-cheek look at some of the scenarios you may run in to next weekend. (Note: tiny bit of strong language in the article).

One of the related articles caught our eye, and we promise no one in the office will attempt this, but someone has stuffed a turkey with Twinkie-stuffing, and the results seem to have been as disgusting as one may imagine. Please don't make any culinary catastrophes like this in your own home!

Yes, one nerdy couple tied the knot with an Android-costumed ring bearer, had Android-green accented bridal garb, and even the officiator stood at an Android-shaped podium. The couple may be in it "til death do us part" - wonder if they're going to be that loyal about their OS?

One final cool marketing tidbit to share, and it's a personal tale from the office. One of our in-house writers and social media outreach coordinator, Alex Wall, had the unfortunate experience of one of our resident peacocks soiling her car window. She lamented this fact on her Facebook status, and within moments she saw a targeted ad from a local car wash. Just goes to show you that social media often knows what you need before you do!
