During his stint on Boston Legal back in 2005, actor William Shatner, best known for his role as Captain James T. Kirk on the original Star Trek series, started doing trailers for law firm commercials. That's right, various law firms across the country could pay to have the famous actor tout their practice at the end of their personal commercial.

The spots appeared from Tulsa to St. Louis and are still seen for some firms today. Shatner actually has taken on a wide variety of commercial work over his long career from Loblaw grocery stores to World of Warcraft, and currently his long running persona as "The Negotiator" for Priceline.

There's been a lot of talk about these cuddly black and white mammals lately, and we have Google to thank. Their latest search engine algorithm update was codenamed Panda and it's causing quite a stir in regards to low-quality content sites and how they rank in search engine results.

But enough about Google's Panda, we've got some videos that show pandas have long been a great marketing tool. You may have seen these commercials recently if you're a TV fan in the states. Both Wanchai Ferry and Panda Express have ads featuring talking pandas. But it's not just the U.S. that knows pandas have selling power, a Pakistan ice cream company was ahead of its time when they featured dancing pandas in their 1990s commercials.
