We Do Web Content, an innovative Web content and SEO marketing firm located in Ft. Lauderdale is seeking a full-time writer and full-time editor who are interested in being part of a tight-knit group of professionals who provide clean, accurate copy primarily for law firms and other businesses.

This isn't just cookie-cutter marketing copy; our work requires someone who can exhibit a strong attention to detail and who hates inaccuracies almost as much as they do spelling mistakes. We deal with often complicated legal issues and need team members who will commit themselves to producing a final product that is free of errors.

Editors - can you separate the wheat from the chaff? Your research duties include helping our content managers find reliable, authoritative references to provide to our writers on legal topics. Our ideal candidate will have great instincts and recognize the good (and bad) references when they spot them online.

There is no "hovering" here; you will be given freedom to complete your tasks and expected to manage your own work load on a daily basis.

Other qualifications include: 

• A degree in Communications, English, or combined;
• 3+ years of experience with writing and editing website copy; and
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

To be considered for the position, you will need to write 2 gratis sample pieces (1 400-word article and 1 250-word blog) on a legal topic of our choice and in accordance with our house style.
