True Blood: The Beverage?
Believe it or not, there really is a beverage marketed to the viewers of the television show "True Blood" on HBO, called Tru Blood. It will be produced by Omni Consumer Products.
The drink will be marketed as all flavor, no bite. The company's website states, "Enliven yourself with this uniquely carbonated, slightly tart lightly sweet blood orange drink."
NBC News reported on what Access Hollywood staffers had to say about the debut of the drink at Comic-Con 2009: "‘Fruity and sweet, with a nice fizzy bite at the end,' one team member said. ‘Sinfully delicious,' another added with a smile."
