In fact, the proposed Obama health care plan would require all Americans to carry health insurance unless they can demonstrate a financial hardship. In addition, employers will be required to provide their employees with health insurance or to provide them with financial assistance so they can obtain coverage on their own.

Of course, the Obama health plan is still facing a significant amount of opposition from Republicans as well as some Democrats.
