Google Tags is the latest small business feature to roll out of the Google Labs and for the first 30 days, it’s free. Google Tags works with the popular Google Maps feature, found on your web browser and most mobile devices. Tags integrates with your current Google Places listing (and if you don’t have one, this is the time to get one!) to enhance it with special features about your business.
The little yellow tag that appears next to your Google Places listing allows your law firm to include special information such as a video, website, photo, or a custom message. The tags are easily updatable to allow for special promotions, announcements, and news updates relevant to your office.
After the 30-day free trial the feature will cost $25 per month and allows businesses to track the effectiveness of the program with dashboard reports. You have until July 23rd to take advantage of this trial so start tagging now!
