Not only does it read unnaturally, it’s distracting to the reader – did you really get any good information out of that paragraph other than the fact that Joe’s Shoes carries discount Nike brand sneakers? Now, if the paragraph listed the benefits of Nike sneakers, or the types that Joe’s Shoes has to offer, that would be more informative and better suited to rank for Google’s search results (provided they dropped a few uses of that overstuffed keyword).
